General Information
Tikla Cars is a licensed private hire minicab operator providing pre-booked ground transportation, including airport and long-distance transfers, within Greater London.
Yes. Tikla Cars is licensed by Transport for London (TfL) as a Private Hire Operator.
We service all UK airports on the condition that one end of your journey is within Greater London.
Yes. All drivers are fully vetted, hold a valid PCO licence issued by Transport for London, and are insured.
Our primary 7–8 passenger solution is Mercedes-Benz Vito, ideal for groups with luggage. Other vehicle types may be available upon request.

Yes. You may book on behalf of another passenger. Please enter their contact details correctly.
Subject to availability. We recommend early booking, especially for airport pickups.
No. You will receive a Booking Confirmation Email once confirmed. Payment success alone is not final confirmation.

You must notify us via email as soon as possible. Changes are not guaranteed and may result in extra charges
Cash bookings can only be accepted via telephone and subject to availability.
We cannot guarantee but will try to accommodate requests.
Airport Transfers
Yes. Drivers track flight arrival times. However, you must inform us of delays when possible.
The driver meets you inside the terminal with a nameboard and helps with luggage.
Unless otherwise stated, Meet & Greet is optional and may incur extra charges.
Free waiting allowance from scheduled pickup time / flight landing time:
• Heathrow: 60 minutes
• Gatwick: 45 minutes
• Stansted: 45 minutes
• Luton: 45 minutes
• City: 40 minutes
• Southend: 40 minutes
After this, £5 per 15 minutes applies.
We monitor flights; however, if delays are extreme or not communicated, additional charges or cancellation may apply.
Your booking will be handled as a normal pickup. If you want to cancel, cancellation terms apply.
Yes, drivers assist when possible; however, they are not obligated to carry very heavy items.
Luggage
Choose a suitable vehicle during booking. Excess luggage may require a vehicle upgrade with extra charge.
The driver may refuse service. No refund applies.
Yes, if declared before booking. Approval required.
No. Passengers are responsible for insuring their own goods.

Pricing & Payment
Prices are quoted based on journey distance, time, type of vehicle, and additional request(s).

No. Tikla Cars is not VAT registered.

We cannot provide VAT receipts. If a PHO performs your journey, they may provide one if they are VAT-registered.

Payment alone does not confirm booking. You must receive a confirmation email.
Yes. Additional stops or diversions may incur extra charges.
Cancellations & Refunds

Yes, but cancellation must be confirmed by email.
- ≥24 hours: Full refund (minus card fee)
• 24–4 hours: 25% charge
• 4–1 hours: 50% charge
• <1 hour: No refund
If >20 minutes late and you cancel at that moment, full refund applies.
After 15 minutes, journey marked No-Show. No refund.
Up to 5 working days.
Safety & Conduct
Allowed at the driver’s discretion. Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited.
No. Smoking is illegal inside private hire vehicles.
Yes, if:
• Passenger is intoxicated
• Passenger is abusive, threatening, racist
• Passenger breaches safety policy
Only with prior agreement. Service animals are allowed by law.
Special Requirements
Available at extra charge; must be pre-booked.
We will try to accommodate but cannot guarantee.
Available only when booked in advance; limited availability.
Routes & Journey
Yes. If more than 5 miles longer than standard route, £1/mile applies.
Only if pre-arranged or may incur additional charges.
Only if the driver agrees; extra charges apply
Lost Property
Email and call us. We will attempt to help, but possession is not guaranteed.
No. Passengers must insure their own items.
Accounts / Business Customers
Yes. Contact us for account setup.
Occasionally, subject to promotion.
Third-Party Drivers (PHO)
Tikla Cars or approved licensed partner operators (PHO).
PHO terms apply; however, Tikla Cars T&Cs take precedence on conflicts.
